Transforming into 2012

Only an hour  until it’s 2012. *claps hand over mouth in surprise*  I celebrated by making a gigantic ice cream sundae, and watching Transformers with my brother.  Ah, good times.  It’s been a great year, and a lot has been accomplished.  I joined PercyQuest as an official staffmember, I started Fictional Fantasy, and I finally started writing my book.  Lots of starts!  Another highlight was getting my drivers permit. 🙂

My New Year’s resolutions this year are to finish writing my book, run a 5k (which I’m doing anyway), join a band, and possibly write a few songs.  Oh, and get a job.  That’s pretty important.  I can’t think of anything else to say….er, write.  So, Happy New Year, and happy writing! 🙂

Submarine Sandwiches

I’m going to be updating my fanfics soon, so never fear!  The reason I’ve been so long in updating them is because I’ve had a lot of inspiration for my book, so I’ve been working hard on that.  I also have family in from out of town, so, yeah.  I’ve been busy. 😉

Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans

Can you tell what I got as a stocking stuffer?  That’s right — every wizard’s favorite candy!  Bean #1 was a delicious green-apple.  Bean #2….. let’s just say vomit tastes GROSS.  My brothers tried soap (I’m not sure if I want to eat that one yet), claiming it tasted exactly like soap.  How they know that, I don’t know.

There is now a Short Story section, so send in those stories, and maybe I’ll post one on the site!  Don’t forget to participate in the contest (we only have one entrant so far).

Three Days In a Row

Merry Christmas everybody!!!  I hope everyone is enjoying a well-deserved Christmas break.  I, for one, am SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I don’t have to do school for the next two weeks. *fist pump* I’m very surprised (but happy) that I’ve managed to post every day for three days in a row!  Aaaaaaaaaaand………..FF HAS GOTTEN OVER 1000 HITS!!!  Thanks so much for all the traffic. *bows to the imaginary clapping audience*

I’ve added a few a TON of new stuff today.  Included among these are Egyptian and Norse mythology, contest and guestbook pages, a recommendations/reviews page, and a page with all the fanfics I’ve written so far.  I also added some more writing tips and a new poem by Shel Silverstein.
